One main feature of Umberto for Carbon Footprint is that it comes with approximately 3000 materials and their carbon rucksacks expressed in CO2-equivalents as properties of the materials.
These data are from the ecoinvent v2.2 database.
We are looking into other databases that we can tap into to provide to you additonal data in the next versions of Umberto for Carbon Footprint.
Users from France have suggested to incorporate the data published by ADEME in their \"Guide des facteurs d\'émission\" and used in Bilan Carbone. ILCD data is another source of data, of interest especially for our users in Europe. We have also been pointed to other data sources, and are evaluating which of them to include in Umberto for Carbon Footprint as ready-to-use material data. License restrictions may apply, but we are working to get more data into the software in the next releases.
If you have any suggestions for additional data sources, please let us know.
