Import of Impact EcoSpold documents
« on: June 07, 2010, 13:49 »
Hello forum

I downloaded the \"IPCC 2007\" out of the \"Categories for impact assessment methods\" from the ecoinvent homepage. The inport to Umberto doesn\'t work properly. A window appears where it\'s said that a certain \"attribut\" has after the DTD/Schema a wrong value.
Furthermore it\'s said that \"Umberto does not yet support the import of Impact EcoSpold documents\".
Is it possible to import the informations of the \"Impact assessment methods\" somehow?

Thank you.

The direct import of ecoinvent LCIA datasets into the Umberto library is not supported. Only LCI datasets can be imported into the library using the Import > Import EcoSpold Files... command, and browsing for the XML file.

Umberto users have all ecoinvent LCI and LCIA datasets pre-imported in their Umberto library, so there is no need to import additional LCIA datasets. IPCC2007 is available ready-to-use in the database.

Users who are waiting for the new ecoinvent 2.2 datasets, in order to be able to use Recipe and UseTox LCIA methods might be interested to know that the new installation CD \'ecoinvent 2.2 for Umberto 5.5\' is about to be shipped within the next couple of days.
