environment like github for some elementary parts?
« on: January 03, 2021, 18:22 »
Hi, hope you're doing well and happy new year.

I was wondering is there any environment having some pre-defined and drawn LCA that we can copy and use for our bigger LCA? For instance, the manufacturing process of bearing or gears?

I think that would be really helpful and time-saving, like some basic codes that are existed on Github.

Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

Dear negin96moslemi,

Thanks a lot for your comment. I am very sorry for the delay of our response.

Unfortunately such a library including sample processes and systems are not available. As a matter of fact some researcher tried to develope that, and it was largely discussed, but never proceeded.

Maybe you could search in the ecoinvent database included in Umberto for certain unit processes and modifiy them.

If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact our support team at support@umberto.de

Kind regards,
Jan
