To program sequences/ loops
« on: September 09, 2019, 10:20 »
I have a question about a model that I have created.
This consists of three successive processes and in the last process a product is created (product X). However, if product X does not yet meet the specific requirements, it must go through the entire process again. In doing so, it is fed to the 1st process as input again. How can I inform the process that this product X should only be calculated if it did not fulfill the desired properties in the last process? In addition, a sequence of calculations must be specified in the 1st process, right? By that I mean a command such as "Calculate Formula One first. Do not calculate formula 2 until the following condition is met." Can these scenarios even be mapped to user-defined functions in Umberto?

Thank you very much.

P.s. Answers can also be written in German.
